Retreat At Hidden View Pond-Accommodations

Unwind from a day of visiting the area sites and events in our expansive common area and living room. Watch the game or racing highlights on the large 51 inch High Definition Television. Enjoy your favorite movies and music on the DVD player and modern sound system all the while lounging in the comfort of oversized all-leather seating in an open beamed area. On chilly evenings or to set a romantic mood curl up next to the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate or chilled wine.

If you're like many of us and enjoy board and card games with your family and friends the Retreat features a fully furnished Game Loft supplied with some of the greatest classic games of all time; Clue, Monopoly, Sorry, Scrabble, Yatzee, Risk, Poker, Rook (our personal favorite), and much more.

The Retreat is fully equipped with everything necessary to prepare and serve (with complete place settings) a gourmet meal for up to 16 people. The oversized harvest dining table easily seats 8, can accommodate 10 and the adjacent bar which separates the dining area from the kitchen has 4 barstools which can be used for breakfast or additional diners. Right outside the dining room door sits the back patio, with a table seating four more. On the front porch is a cafe table which is perfect for a romantic dinner or for morning coffee overlooking the pond. The kitchen is totally ready for use, with a chef's cache of utensils, from wire whisks to pots and pans to power utensils (blender, toaster oven, hand mixer, gridiron, etc.). There is even a spice and herb rack for culinary perfection!

After all the day’s events, bird watching, hiking, fishing, etc. you'll sleep like a baby in one our three beautifully decorated bedrooms. We have furnished the beds with premium mattresses for not only comfort but excellent support and have 600 thread count sheets on each for a pampered feel while you sleep. The master bedroom features a wonderful king sized canopy bed and comes equipped with a Direct TV connected High Definition television and DVD player.

The Retreat at Hidden View Pond is a wonderful destination for your next reunion, wedding, fundraiser, or retreat for your church or organization.

The Retreat is surrounded by large open fields making it a great site for large tents, barbecues, games, etc. Have a memorable outdoor wedding in picturesque natural beauty. Host a family reunion or group picnic with lots of room for barbecues, tables, volleyball, softball, and a host of other outdoor activities. Sit under one of the great trees on the property, enjoy the firepit, or relax beside the babbling stream in our screened tent.

For weddings we not only offer plenty of exterior space but the cabin makes a fantastic "base of operations" for the wedding party. We offer all the amenities for preparation including the spacious dressing/sitting room; the perfect area for the bride-to-be and her attendants to get ready before the wedding. To help facilitate a successful event we also offer a wide range of services for you and your guest including: Party/Event Planning, Catering, Photography, even assisting in setup and hosting.
